We humbly submit that the Royal Suite might be the best hotel room in the Marigny and the French Quarter, if not all of New Orleans. How can we make a boast like that? We’re arrogant, that’s how. But seriously, this is the suite you rent if you want to live like the Rolling Stones circa Exile on Main Street. Yeah, it’s like that – the really, really good years. Romantic enough for a couple to lounge around together all day in and then get lost in, big enough for an orgy. Or two simultaneous orgies, because it sleeps seven people comfortably. It’s also perfect for film companies looking for an unusually rad place to conduct a special screening, an ad-hoc bordello, or simply as a joint in which to throw a killer party. Top it off with possibly the coolest and most tasteful appointments and decorations we could manage and you’ve got a room you will never, ever want to leave. Seriously, we’ll have to kick your ass out at the end of your stay.
The Royal Suite’s main room features: Balcony access, a king-sized platform bed, a queen-sized foldout couch, a 52” HDTV with DVD player, iPod dock, cable, half-bathroom, kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, double sink, cupboards and coffee maker, a dining room table, central air and heat and wireless internet.
The Royal Suite’s master bedroom features: a queen-sized poster bed, 36” HDTV with DVD player, a chest of drawers and an armoire, and full-sized bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub, a bidet (pronounced bih-day), cable, and wireless internet.
